                                                             Please read this message from Mr. Hubble:    Valentine's Day at Lincoln School on February 14 is quickly approaching and of course, things this year will continue to be a little different. Our plan is to hold off on the candy and packaged Valentines, and below are details for the week. During the week of February 14 - 17, our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on "Love." Love means that you value close relationships with others and being close to people. The character strength of love represents the way we think, feel, and behave towards the people with whom we have close relationships.                                                           We finished NWEA! Students will be updating their conferences slides this week and will be conferencing at home with you the following week to share their progress. They have also set new goals! Look for information about having a conference with your child in the planner and upcoming blogs.                                                               We will be finishing NWEA testing this week. Kids may bring gum, suckers, Jolly Ranchers, or something to use to wake up their brains during the test. The music program is Wednesday at the high school. Last week's blog has all the details from Ms. Mac. Students should try to wear red, white, or blue if possible!                                                          Hello everyone! Girls on the Run registration ends tomorrow on Jan 14th! Girls on the Run is back! We are looking for Girls on the Run coaches and participants for this spring. Any 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade girl can be a part of this 8 week program that begins the week of March 21st with two practices a week. You can choose to be on the Mon./Wed. Team or Tue./Thur. team.
