                                              Thank you to all who sent in food, drinks, games, crafts, etc. for the Halloween party. The kids had a blast! Also, thank you to everyone who came in to help. It was so nice to see so many people in the building again! Feel free to share pictures with me. I will pass them along for the yearbook and will print some for our classroom. The extra snacks and drinks will be used for kids who forget a snack.  Just a few reminders: Students are writing their homework nightly in their planners. If they are behind in Lexia or their paragraph writing, they may replace the read 20 minutes of their good fit books assignment with these other tasks as needed.                                                Happy Halloween! Here is the link  to see what the kids signed up to bring on Friday. Feel free to send anything in ahead of time. Just a reminder that our party is from 1:20-2:20 and the parade is at 3:15. Hope to see you there! A ziplock bag with math games was sent home on Friday. The hope is for kids to reinforce their math fact fluency. With a dry erase marker, kids can write right on the bag so it can be used again. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional supplies!                                                     There will be a science homework assignment this weekend! Due to covid precautions, the kids will need to complete this activity at home. I will send the balloons and their notebooks to record any data. They can also watch the video again in Classroom if needed. If anyone wishes to record a video or take pictures using their class computer, please make sure they share them with me!  On Tuesday, we will make a plan for the Halloween party. Afterwards, I will attach a link to let you know what your child signed up to do/bring. Please write a note in his/her planner or email me if this plan won't work. All are welcome to attend our party on the 29th from 1:20-2:20. The kids will attend the all school parade at 3:15 on the playground with Mrs. Bacolor since they will be in library at that time.                                                     Thank you for your help in making sure your child is reading at home each night! Our new planners have finally arrived and are much smaller than expected!! The kids are excited to use them though and should be brought back and forth to school signed daily. By writing the titles of the books they're reading each day, it's a good source to track all their reading progress throughout the year.  Just a reminder that conferences are coming up this week and next. Here is the link to check your time. The Halloween party will be on Friday, the 29th from 1:20-2:20. Mrs. Bacolor will take the kids outside for the parade at 3:15. All parents are welcome to join us! We will start to plan it out next week and will record the items the kids want to bring in the planner.                                                  Thank you for all your donations and also for those of you who were able to attend Laps for Lincoln! What a fun night it was celebrating all our hard work!! Students will begin to prepare their slides this week for conferences.
