                                                        Hope you have a nice long weekend with your family! We are really in the home stretch now. Please try to avoid appointments and absences as I am working to wrap up assessments for report cards. Thank you! On Friday we are going to Grand Mere State Park in Stevensville for a dunes study through Sarett Nature Center. No chaperones are necessary for this trip. Students should wear sunscreen, comfortable hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. We will be there from 9:30-11:30.  This Week: Monday - Memorial Day/No School Tuesday - PE   Wednesday - Late Start & 5th Grade Music Program Thursday -  Music Friday - Sarett Dunes Study & Library/Media Center  Upcoming Dates: 6/6 - Health Program   6/7 - Kiwanis Park Play Day 10:00-12:00 6/8 - Lincoln School Picnic 5:00-7:00(More Info to Come) 6/9 - Half Day 6/10 - Half Day/Last Day of School

                        The Kalamazoo Valley Museum trip is Tuesday from 9:30-11:15 for those parents meeting us there. We leave Lincoln on the bus at 8:45 and plan to get back by 12:00. Food is still not allowed on the bus or in the museum, so we will have the kids bring a quick snack to have outside the museum afterward.  Permission slips went home for the Health Program and are due by next Friday. When you read the content on the form, it sounds much more in-depth than it really is. Feel free to contact me for more info, but my daughter will be attending if that helps you make your decision. The date was changed several times, so now that it is June 6th in the morning, we needed to change our Kiwanis Park day to June 7th. Please let me know if you would like to join us so I can give the museum a count. This trip is free and the only restriction right now is no food is allowed.
