Thank you so much for a fabulous year! This is such a great group of kids and I feel so blessed to have been a part of their educational journies. Since my daughter is in this class, I very so fortunate to be able to see them grow even more in the future. Have a great summer!

The Health Presentation form was due by Friday, May 27th. If the form isn't turned in, your child won't be able to attend. The presentation will be on Monday, June 6th. The girls' group will go from 9-9:30 and the boys' group will go from 10-10:30.

 Kiwanis Park:  Tuesday, June 7th from 9:30-12:00! We will leave at 9:30 and be back by lunchtime. Please make sure to dress according to the weather.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will start packing up the room. An extra bag may be needed. If you could assist your child with this that would be helpful. Thanks!

                                                 We will be traveling by bus to the high school at 9:30 tomorrow morning to preview the Sound of Music . We plan to return at 11:00. Kids should plan to dress nicely if possible!  With the changing weather, please send appropriate cold-weather gear for recess. Kids may leave extra layers in their lockers if necessary. We try to go outside as often as possible! The 1st trimester ends Friday, so it is a half-day. We will have a read-in to celebrate all the kids' hard work. They may bring pillows or blankets, stuffed animals, a clear drink and snack, and a ton of books. They may also wear pajamas if they want!                                                               We will be finishing NWEA testing this week. Kids may bring gum, suckers, Jolly Ranchers, or something to use to wake up their brains during the test. The music program is Wednesday at the high school. Last week's blog has all the details from Ms. Mac. Students should try to wear red, white, or blue if possible!                                               Thank you to all who sent in food, drinks, games, crafts, etc. for the Halloween party. The kids had a blast! Also, thank you to everyone who came in to help. It was so nice to see so many people in the building again! Feel free to share pictures with me. I will pass them along for the yearbook and will print some for our classroom. The extra snacks and drinks will be used for kids who forget a snack.  Just a few reminders: Students are writing their homework nightly in their planners. If they are behind in Lexia or their paragraph writing, they may replace the read 20 minutes of their good fit books assignment with these other tasks as needed.
