Hope you're having a nice weekend! For back to school night, I am trying to make things more interactive for you. Instead of me presenting the entire time, I will keep my presentation short and then you will have time to get into your child's device so we can make sure you know how to access every important thing you need. I will also pass out field trip permission slips!!! Yes, we get to have field trips again! One important date to note is our Lansing trip this spring on May 5th. We like to give you as much time as possible to arrange work schedules in case you want to attend this memorable trip. 

Laps for Lincoln Kickoff! We kicked off this awesome fundraiser for our school on Friday. Students should have brought home a paper explaining everything and an envelope for collections. Necklaces with charms will be given out again this year for donations AND positive behavior choices. This is such an amazing class so I have a feeling I will run out of charms quickly!! Thank you for considering giving to Lincoln School. 

Here is the link for fall conferences! I am available for you to schedule either in-person or virtual(please tell me which method you prefer in the signup form.) More evening times can be made available, just email me what time works for you! Please make sure your child is able to join you at the conference because our conference will be student-led!!

District Homecoming Spirit Week

                                                      Thank you so much for a fabulous year! This is such a great group of kids and I feel so blessed to have been a part of their educational journies. Since my daughter is in this class, I very so fortunate to be able to see them grow even more in the future. Have a great summer! The Health Presentation form was due by Friday, May 27th. If the form isn't turned in, your child won't be able to attend. The presentation will be on Monday, June 6th. The girls' group will go from 9-9:30 and the boys' group will go from 10-10:30.   Kiwanis Park :  Tuesday, June 7th from 9:30-12:00! We will leave at 9:30 and be back by lunchtime.                                                             Just a reminder, if you would like to join us as a  chaperone  for the trip to Lansing, please turn in this paperwork. We have three  spots left! If you already turned in the form, you are in and I will be sharing a list with everyone's contact info to arrange carpooling. Volunteer forms and background checks are required to be a chaperone, so Mrs. Kauffman in the office will be checking to see who still needs to complete that paperwork and will send home the paperwork with your child after the break.                                                Happy Halloween! Here is the link  to see what the kids signed up to bring on Friday. Feel free to send anything in ahead of time. Just a reminder that our party is from 1:20-2:20 and the parade is at 3:15. Hope to see you there! A ziplock bag with math games was sent home on Friday. The hope is for kids to reinforce their math fact fluency. With a dry erase marker, kids can write right on the bag so it can be used again.
